This site is useful to teachers, because it offers so many links to helpful sites for teachers in all subject areas and grades. You can go view lesson plans for your subject area or view a list of useful books for your subject area. I highly recommend this site to ALL teachers.
This is a great tool for teachers because it has hundreds of links to helpful sites for all different types of teachers. There are lesson plan templates and search engines designed for teachers. It is a great site.

This is a great site for ESL students to play an interactive game online. It allows students to practice their spelling by showing them a picture of an object and asking them to spell that object. This is also allowing them to practice their vocabulary.
This is a great website for ESL students to work with other students in the U.S. It allows students and teachers to set up a penpal program through e-mail. Students can practice their English writing skills while sending e-mails to another student in the country.
This is a great virtual tour field trip for ESL students in Georgia. It allows the students to view the state capital where so many important things happen. They have a personal tour guide that gives the history of different rooms and tells them current issues that occur there. Anything they click on has an explanation. It is a great way for them to learn about politics in Georgia.
This is a Webquest game for students to play using several computer programs. The students play in groups and get to role play different job positions in the city to raise awareness about cars and the problems they can cause in the environment. This activity gives students the opportunity to learn more about different job positions in the city and how they can help improve the environment.
This is a link to an article about a research study Michael Page, a professor at Louisiana Tech. University, performed to see the affects of technology in the classroom. He compared students who have technology to those who do not use it in class. The article was found on the Galileo website.

This is a site that students can use over and over to review parts of a sentence (predicate and subject). It is a great learning tool for ESL students to learn about English sentences.

This is a great game to teach ESL students vocabulary. It is a very basic game of hangman but can be used multiple times.

This site is great for ESL students to practice recognizing singular and plural nouns. There are 3 ways to play the game on this site: matching, concentration, and flashcards.
